All of Titan USA’s solid carbide, high-speed steel and cobalt precision cutting tools are U.S.-made, including endmills, micro endmills, thread mills, drill mills, drills, chamfer mills, taps and dies, reamers, burs and countersinks.

While many companies have off-shored production, Titan, based in West Springfield, Mass., has remained committed through more than 42 years of business to premium, 100 percent American-made quality. Titan upholds this commitment to distributors throughout North America.

Hemly Tool offers a wide range of Titan products, including the VI-PRO, a high-performance, solid carbide endmill. VI-PRO’s flute configuration produces a harmonic shift that results in minimal chatter and an exceptional finish.  Eccentric relief enhances the strength of the cutting edge for slotting, roughing, profiling and finishing applications.

The VI-PRO works well with alloy steels, cast iron, titanium, stainless steel, high temp and all other ferrous materials up to 50HRc.

Titan USA tools benefit from high-capacity cutting tool Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coatings. Titan uses three high-production PLATIT PL1001 Compact coating machines that deliver consistent PVD coating quality, increasing cutting tool performance through improved wear resistance, abrasion prevention and control of corrosion and oxidation at high temperatures.

Titan offers a variety of PVD coatings, such as the high-performance, heat-resistant ALTIN coating for milling, tapping and drilling in stainless steels, carbon steels, alloy steels and cast iron; ALCRO-MAX, a triple coating based on AlCrN with a titanium addition, well suited to machining tool steel;  and coatings for non-ferrous materials, lower cutting speed applications and general-purpose use.

Another feature of Titan tools is corner radius design, which further improves productivity while reducing costs. Sharp corners are the weakest point of many endmills. But Titan’s corner radius design eliminates this problem, strengthening the endmill, which reduces chipping and extends tool life.

Titan offers an extensive range of corner radius tools in stub, regular, long and extra-long lengths, with radii ranging from 0.008 up to 0.120.
